Hello!

Many members have asked us to reconsider our guest policy for this summer. We originally stated that we will not allow guests this summer since we are still operating within a restricted occupancy number (in order to allow for safe social distancing) and also because we want to allow our paying members as much access to the pool (instead of competing with guests taking reservations slots).

We heard you loud and clear, and we are able to make a moderation to our rule. Since we are not requiring reservations during the week (Mondays through Fridays at 3:50 pm, we will allow guests during these times.

Since we are still requiring reservations beginning at 4 pm on Friday through Sunday night (and on holidays), we will keep to our original plan and will not allow guests during any those times.

As a friendly reminder our pool by-laws / rules state the following regarding pool guests:

  • Out-of-town guests (from outside Forsyth County) will be permitted to use the pool when accompanied by a member
  • Any in-town, non-member guest may visit the pool no more than FIVE times per summer for a fee of $5 per visit. Guest must be accompanied by a pool member.
  • Students living in dormitories and other guests who maintain temporary residence in Forsyth County are considered residents requiring admission fee.
  • Guests who live in Forsyth County (including family members / grandparents) who do not live in the account holders home, will need to consider joining the pool if they intend to attend the pool more than 5 times during the summer.
  • During the check in procedure, all guests will be asked to provide their name, address, email and / or phone number this summer. A guest card will be started for that person and the dates each guest attends the pool with be recorded.

As you know, Covid conditions continue to change, and we are optimistic that things will continue to get better and restrictions will continue to loosen. We pay close attention to what the Governor and the CDC allow (as well as guidelines that our pool management company enforce), and if anything changes we will notify membership asap.

We have also received some questions about a caretaker/nanny being allowed to bring children to the pool.  We have always tried to accommodate these requests and situations.  If you need to make this request for your family, please email our Membership Chair, Michael Ferrin, at membership@peacehavenpool.com.

Don’t forget the pool opens SATURDAY, May 29! See you soon!
