PHCA ADULT LAP SWIM POLICIES

Adult Swim Rules (board approved 4.3.2026)

We are pleased to offer morning lap swim to all adult PHCA members. Lap swim policies are as follows:

Morning lap swim is available to PHCA members only – no guests permitted.
Morning lap swim is for adults only (18 and over).
Morning lap swim is unsupervised and there will be NO lifeguard on duty.
Morning lap swimmers are encouraged but not required to swim with a buddy.
Generally there are no lane ropes in the pool but swimmers should use one “lane” and share a “lane” if needed – with up to 12 swimmers at a given time.
Permissible lap swim usage includes swimming and other forms of water exercise that adhere to the above policy.
After completing PHCA Adult Lap Swim Registration lap swimmers will be issued a code to the Lap Swim Lock Box which contains a key that may be used to unlock the gate.
Morning lap swimmers are responsible to return the key to the box, close the box and scramble the code after opening the gate and prior to entry.
Morning lap swimmers are responsible to lock the gate upon exit.
If lap swimmers have any concerns about the facilities or other swimmers they should promptly notify a member of the PHCA board.

If you have an adult child (18 yrs or older) who is not listed as a primary or co-primary account member, but who would like to participate in Adult Lap Swim, please have them complete the following Registration Form.
